Domestic Violence Danger Assessment & Safety Planning

Emerge’s most recent item, and created as a part of a grant from the Department of Justice, this DVD consists of scenarios with a police officer, prosecutor and victim’s advocate  interviewing a victim, with narration provided throughout. This is a helpful training tool for law enforcement and battered women’s advocates, as well as abuser education program counselors and administrators.

“In Their Own Voices” Batterer’s Panel

This video, offered in either DVD or VHS format, was produced as a training tool for judges. Produced in part by the Trial Court of Massachusetts, this video features actual Emerge group members (faces not shown) speaking of why they first came to the program and what they have learned during their time in abuser education. Narration and closing commentary is provided by David Adams, Emerge Co-Director.
