While Emerge works with people who are abusive in relationships, we also have a lot of contact with people who have been harmed by that abuse who consider themselves to be a survivor or a victim of domestic violence.

On these pages, we discuss many of the harms that are experienced by those who are victimized by domestic violence and offer some resource links and information that may be helpful to develop safety and understanding about abusers coming to Emerge or other abuser education programs.
